Signs of Rats
Droppings can be found anywhere. They are usually about 10mm long and spindle shaped
If the problem is longstanding you may be able to notice an unpleasant smell.
Holes may appear in you garden approximately 7-12cm in width with a pile of earth near the entrance. There may also be rat runs which are a continuous depression the grass/low vegetation or smooth pathway on bare earth.
You may notice gnawing of the bottom of wooden doors or sheds.
Sometimes Rats may drag compost out of compost heaps or rubish out of your bins.
You may hear or see Rats before you see any evidence.
Signs of Mice
Droppings can be found anywhere, but more noticeably in drawers and cupboards.
You may notice food packets, soap and candles nibbled or chewed.
You may find a nest made of shredded paper, card, materials or a mixture.
It is common for mice to live in loft spaces so you may be able to hear scratching as they move about above you.
What should I do?

Gather all affected food packaging. The pest controller will want to asses this before treating the problem.
Leave droppings where found as the pest controller will need to assess the access points the rodents are using.
Ensure all food surfaces are disinfected thouroughly and regularly to avoid contamination of food.
Ensure all food is sealed well in packaging and where possible store in airtight containers.
What will Enviro-Tec do?

We aim to treat the infestation within 24 hours of quotation. For on site surveys, where possible, the site will be treated immediately.
